Who is KrimelifeCass and how did he come to be?
Well basically, ever since I was a young man you feel me? I was doing A lot of illegal things, things In the streets, you know gaining a profit through the selling of narcotics and allat and after getting locked up a couple times every year since I was about 14, getting sent away a bunch of other sh*t. I thought you know what? I think I should call myself KrimelifeCass because i'm definitely a fucking criminal.
What inspires your music?
My life, the things that I've seen, the way that I perceive them. I like to tell stories from my perspective that people could relate to if they felt that type of way personally.
If you could've picked a life without Crime would you?
What keeps you motivated and making the moves you make?
Getting what I know I deserve , working hard for what I know is coming already its just putting it into place and solidifying it , all these ideas and all these concepts. All this type of artistry in progress type of sh*t I wanna do through the industry and through other platforms of publicity and all that. I know what I can do and i'm trying to do it.
What year did you cop your first charge and for what?
My first charge was Grand Larceny when I was 14.
Tell me about your new EP?
My newest EP Babyface is a collection of a bunch of work that was being made In the past 6months or so. It's basically talking about the adversity that I've been facing with a lot of the people I grew up with, that I was moving with in this music sh*t with all the recognition and fame that's coming or however you wanna call it, People is showing they true colors. I had to cut a lot of em off because they ain't wanna see me shine. So it's basically talking about that and the case i'm still fighting and how I'm trying to keep my head above water. Talking about how i'm just always getting locked and having to fight the cases, so that's what Babyface Is really about.
Do you feel any of the younger heads peep you and wanna be like you or follow into a lifestyle that isn't built for them?
Hell Yeah mad hard, They be Whyllin! They're gonna get shot, they're gonna catch a charge that they don't even know the consequences. The kids out here be whyllin really thinking that they could put on this façade and everything else is gonna come with it and they're gonna end up in a predicament that they can't get out of. You kids need to stop whyllin and be themselves.
What advice would you give to the youth?
It don't matter if you're doing something legal, illegal, whatever the case is, whatever you do good or bad just do it the best you can and see in that sh*t. If you're a f*cking bang robber you better f*cking get away with the money and not get caught and be a good f*cking bank robber and not f*cking go to prison. It don't matter if you're a f*cking doctor if you're a mother*cking robber do that sh*t the best you can because that's all you can do.
Do any of your tattoos have meanings? Which tattoo you have mean the most to you?
All of my tattoos have meaning, it would have to be between the KLB on my face and my knuckles that say BABYFACE.
You got any influences?
Awe man out the roof I got so many influences, like new generation and old school It would be hard to name them all off top. On a street view ever since I caught onto the Tay K wave I been bumpin that mans sh*t heavy, that man really been hitting some bars lowkey, everyone sleepin on em and I hope he overcomes that sh*t with his case or whatever happens you feel me? So he could still continue on with this music. I mostly fuck with people I know, a lot of people close to me that are real nice in this music sh*t might not have as much recognition that they deserve or have earned but I listen to their sh*t because that sh*t is Krack you feel me?
What do you want to come out of the rest of this year?
I wanna not go to jail which is probably gonna happen but youknow whatever. I want cases to be resolved and I wanna kinda move forward from all this negativity and all the sh*t holding me back with the legal aspect of my career. I Wanna kinda defuse that and minimize it, get passed it and get back on the track I was on. If I really stay on that path of putting out all this good sh*t and putting together a lot of effort together in projects and concepts and just everything all together that's gonna in the long run, be a movie. It's gonna be f*cking crazy.
